Yup, we’re talking burgers now. Don’t worry, this isn’t a PR skit a la a certain house of pancakes, but merely giving a look at the more meatier step-brother of the sandwich family. Much like sandwiches, burgers can be customized into any shape or form so desired. From the standard cheeseburger, to the iconic Patty Melt, you can’t go wrong with whatever you put on a burger. But then there’s the burger creations that are just so ingenious, you wonder why you didn’t think of this in the first place! Case in point, the Juicy Lucy.
The origin on the Juicy Lucy is quite shaky, with two restaurants residing in Minneapolis claiming to be the inventor of said burger. These two in question being the 5-8 Club and Matt’s Bar. Regardless of origin, the idea itself is simply genius. Cheese inside of the burger?
Who would’ve thunk it? You can choose whatever cheese that tickles your fancy, with standard cheddar and bleu cheese being the top two favorites that people choose from.
Not only is this a new and interesting way to eat a cheeseburger, but it’s quite simple to make! Simply take the respective cheese of your choice, stuff it some meat, form into a patty and grill!
Ooey, gooey, and all around delicious, you can’t go wrong with a Juicy Lucy!
